Day 1Manali

Arrival in Manali, explore the town’s scenic surroundings, including Naggar Castle and the hot springs at Vashisht.

Day 2Jispa

Drive from Manali to Jispa, a scenic village in the Lahaul Valley. Enroute, visit Rohtang Pass, Keylong, and several other scenic spots.

Day 3-4Leh

Our morning drive takes us from Swiss lakes to Swiss Army. At the once-secret Swiss army bunker at Fortress Fürigen, we’ll see part of the massive defense system designed to keep Switzerland strong and neutral. Afterward, a short drive into the countryside brings us to the charming Alpine village of Engelberg, our picturesque home for the next two days. We’ll settle into our lodge then head out for an orientation walk. Our stroll through the village will end at the Engelberg Abbey, a Benedictine monastery with its own cheese-making operation. You’ll have free time to wander back before dinner together. Sleep in Engelberg (2 nights). Bus: 1 hr. Walking: light.

Day 5-6Jispa

Return from Leh to Jispa, stopping at scenic spots like Sarchu and Zingzing Bar enroute. Spend two days exploring the stunning landscapes and local culture of the Lahaul Valley, including visits to monasteries like Keylong and Shashur.

Day 7Manali

Drive from Jispa to Manali, stopping at scenic spots like Rohtang Pass and the Solang Valley enroute.

Day 8-9Manali

Spend a couple of days exploring Manali and its scenic surroundings, including Naggar Castle and the hot springs at Vashisht.

Day 10Manali
